Karen Elizabeth Boyle, MD, earned her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and graduated from Albany Medical College with a distinction in research. She completed her general surgery and urologic surgery training at The Brady Urological Institute, The Johns Hopkins Hospital, and a fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and Microsurgery at Baylor College of Medicine.

Dr. Karen E. Boyle is the founder of Chesapeake Aesthetic Surgery and The Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute of Baltimore and Washington, D.C. She is one of the few urologic surgeons in the U.S. certified and affiliated with the prestigious Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute of America founded by pioneer Dr. David Matlock. Dr. Boyle trained with Dr. Matlock, MD, MBA, FACOG, of the Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Center of Los Angeles.   Dr. Matlock has performed vaginal rejuvenation surgery over the past ten years and pioneered and developed Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation and Designer Laser Vaginoplasty.

Dr. Karen E. Boyle was featured on the ABC television documentary Hopkins, where she was Director of Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, and Assistant Professor of Urology, Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Boyle also serves as Director, Reproductive Medicine, Surgery and Sexuality for Chesapeake Urology Associates.  In addition to her aesthetic surgery focus, she specializes in male fertility including:  microsurgical vasectomy reversal, sperm retrieval procedures such as microdissection testicular sperm extraction, as well as vasectomies, and male and female sexual health.  Additionally, Dr. Boyle also serves as Director of Male Fertility at Shady Grove Fertility Center.
